Kinetica Labs has been selected as the only foreign firm to participate in a project to increase the level of smart construction technology across construction sites by South Korea’s Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport and Agency for Infrastructure Technology Advancement.  Specifically, Kinetica Labs will contribute to the creation of an ultra-precision digital map and twin with a drone-based site measurement system and a ground moving platform that can be operated autonomously. Autonomous measurement of work sites based on smart unmanned systems will be used to improve productivity and prevent accidents.

The $13 million (₩16 billion) project, hosted by the Korea Institute of Construction Technology (KICT), was launched on April 1, 2020, will last until 2026.
